We’re open every day, starting Labor Day weekend and keep the festivities going all the way through New Year’s Eve

Activities

Activities are typically available from September through early November. Eventually it gets cold and the animals need to head back to their regular home at our nearby farm. By late November we move our focus indoors where we offer lots of fresh seasonal items for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve.

Early Season Activities

Petting Farm

Kids and adults alike will love visiting our petting farm, home to friendly animals such as chickens, a turkey, lambs, and playful piglets. Feeding and petting these animals creates joyful, hands-on experiences that add to the magic of the season.

Giant Straw Pyramid & Slides

Children can climb to new heights on our giant straw pyramid, a popular structure perfect for burning off energy. Watch them slide down one of our fun slides, or join in the fun and relive your inner child—it’s a seasonal tradition that brings smiles to all ages.

Photo Opportunities

Our mill transforms with the seasons, creating the ideal backdrop for cherished photos. With vibrant chrysanthemums, plump pumpkins, colorful gourds, rustic corn stalks, and an old-fashioned wagon, every corner offers a chance to capture memories. Be sure to stop by for a seasonal snapshot with friends or family!

Picnic Tables & More

Relax at one of our picnic tables, nestled throughout the mill grounds. Whether it’s enjoying a crisp, cool cup of our handcrafted apple cider or savoring a dozen freshly made donuts, our seating areas provide the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Antique farm equipment, large tires for climbing, and more can be enjoyed.

Piglets

  • Pigs are smart and can be trained.
  • Pigs have a great sense of smell, even better than dogs.
  • Piglets love to play and are very social.
  • Piglets enjoy corn, oats, barley, sweet potatoes, squash, and pumpkins.

Turkey

  • Turkeys moult, or lose their feathers, in late summer to grow new ones.
  • Turkeys are highly social and can recognize each other’s faces.

  • Turkeys enjoy grains, seeds, fruits, and vegetables.
