Hand Crafted Apple Cider

At Rochester Cider Mill, our apple cider is crafted with pride, using only the freshest Michigan apples. Each batch is made with two or more apple varieties to achieve the perfect balance of sweetness and flavor, a technique that has been cherished by the Barkham family for generations. Unpasteurized and free of preservatives, our cider offers a pure and authentic taste, preserving the natural flavors of the apples. From week to week, our cider evolves as the apples ripen, creating a unique experience every time, but always delivering the rich, consistent quality we’re known for.
We also take great pride in offering exclusive specialty ciders, where we blend our traditional apple cider with locally sourced fruits like pear, peach, cherry, and more. Whether it’s our specialty blends or holiday ciders, perfect for festive gatherings, our variations provide something for everyone throughout the season.
From refreshing cider slushies on warm days to warming hot mulled cider in the colder months, every sip of Rochester Cider Mill cider tells the story of our commitment to handcrafted quality and family tradition.

Our Cider Collection

Exclusive Cider Blends
Our handcrafted cider blends are released occasionally. Follow us on social media and sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when a new batch is available. Please note that our traditional apple cider is always on hand.

Experience the magic of tradition as our over 150-year-old, leather belt-driven cider press squeezes every drop of precious cider from the finest Michigan apples. This historic process, unchanged for generations, uses brute force and craftsmanship to deliver the fresh, unfiltered flavor you love.
When do we press? Typically, we press once a week, or more frequently as needed to meet the high demand for our cider. Each batch is made with the same dedication and hard work that has been part of cider making for centuries.
